I started my design career in packaging working for a small design firm north of San Francisco in Marin County called Sloat Design Group. We did consumer packaging for "all natural" and "organic" brands sold in Whole Foods and other high-end health conscious boutique grocery stores. I carried my package design skills to the advertising side of the business at Godfrey Q, creating high-budget direct mail pieces for C level executives in the tech industry. From there I was able to really refine and explore packaging programs designing food and clothing packaging for Neiman Marcus.
